GUJCOST is organizing a brainstorming session on “Science and Technology in Union Budget 2026” with the scientists and researchers of premier institutions of the state on 10th February, 2026, 11:00 am via virtual mode.

The Union Budget is a key policy instrument that shapes the direction of India’s Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) ecosystem landscape for new initiatives for research, higher education, innovation and industry–academia collaboration. With the increasing focus on deep-tech, biotechnology, semiconductors, clean energy and advanced manufacturing, it is essential for state-level stakeholders to understand the implications of the Budget and identify opportunities for Gujarat’s academic and research institutions.

The program will have experts from Govt. sector, Academia and higher education. Faculties, research scholars and PG students are invited to join this program.
