Gujarat to Celebrate 100 Hours of Astronomy 2025
The Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), working under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, is proud to bring the global celebration of 100 Hours of Astronomy 2025 to life from 2nd to 5th October 2025 across the state.
In harmony with this worldwide initiative, Gujarat will showcase its vibrant presence on the global stage through #100HoursOfAstronomy, #100HoursAstronomyinGujarat, and #IAUoutreach, echoing the spirit of curiosity and discovery.
Across the state, a continuous stream of interactive and hands-on experiences will engage children and young learners—inviting them to explore the cosmos, uncover the marvels of astronomy, and awaken a lifelong sense of wonder about the universe.
Adding a truly unique dimension, the Regional Science Centre, Bhuj, will welcome visitors to India’s largest public observatory, offering a rare chance to gaze deeper into the night sky and connect with the mysteries of space.
This celebration is more than an event—it is Gujarat’s commitment to bringing science, exploration, and inspiration into the hearts and minds of its people.
Join us in this cosmic journey at your nearest District Community Science Center or Regional Science Centers in Patan, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, and Rajkot - and experience the universe like never before!
