It is our pleasure to inform you that GUJCOST in association with the National Council of Science Museums is organizing the National Science Drama Festival 2022 for school students from 6th to 10th standard on the theme “Science and Technology for the benefit of Mankind”. The sub themes of this competition are (1) Millets - The Superfood, (2) Food Security, (3) Modern Technology in Daily Life, (4) Current Advances in Health Care and (5) Superstitions in Society.

The aim of this programme is to encourage the students, teachers and other science communicators to explore and experiment with the dramatic form as a means of science communication.

Each School will participate at District Level. One team from each district will participate in State Level.

Important Dates

District Level All District August-September, 2023
State Level at Regional Science Centre, Rajkot on 26-27th October, 2023
From the State level competition, first best team will participate in Western Zonal Level Science Drama Festival on 25th November, 2023 at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai. The National Level Science Drama Festival will be held in January, 2024 at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai.
